We held a social gathering for junior high and high school students from Nagaoka and its sister city, Fort Worth, USA!
On June 19th, we held the "Nagaoka x FW Party 2026" at Miraie Nagaoka!
Participants formed groups of about seven people and started with self-introductions using gestures and icebreaker activities. Then, we held the "Bean (Ball) Relay"—an event that was a big hit last year! We ran two rounds, and the excitement in the venue reached its peak! 🏃
During the free time following the relay, we saw participants chatting with one another, regardless of nationality or language.
At WA!!, we will continue to organize various activities to help realize the kind of international exchange envisioned by the junior high and high school students living in Nagaoka! Stay tuned for our next event! 🥳
