We held a workshop where we learned about Mongolian culture and language from WA!! members hailing from Mongolia!
On March 28th, we held the "Mongolia Workshop"—the final event of the academic year (and the last one for our second-year high school members, too 🥹)!
As someone originally from Mongolia, planning an event to share my own culture was a truly valuable experience for me.
During the event, participants learned about the cultural differences between Japan and Mongolia while getting hands-on experience with Mongolian culture.
The program was packed with activities, including trying to build a ger (traditional yurt), enjoying traditional Mongolian games, and practicing self-introductions and writing names in Mongolian!
I hope that through this workshop, everyone was able to get a taste of Mongolian culture and broaden their perspectives and knowledge.
