WA!! Members Camp 2026

Having marked our 6th anniversary this spring and now racing into our seventh year, we paused briefly in early January to hold "Members Camp 2026." It was an opportunity to reflect on our activities to date and think together about the future.

The program featured a variety of workshops, including activity reports for 2025 presented by current high school members, group discussions, presentations by university-student alumni about their studies and extracurricular activities, and a talk session with our founding members. We also enjoyed a pizza party for lunch 🍕

As members reconnected and forged new bonds, we were able to articulate our individual challenges and learnings. This allowed us to engage in deep dialogue around the shared theme: "So, what will we—as WA‼︎—do together?"

We will reach our seventh anniversary on April 22nd.

While our list of achievements and possibilities has grown—and we certainly have things we want to do—we still grapple with uncertainty, sometimes questioning whether we should keep WA‼︎ going.

Our actions might seem small—just a group of high school students doing something modest.

Yet, we take action one step at a time, aiming to pass this legacy on to the next generation.

We believe that precisely because we are high school students—and even from right here in Nagaoka—we can make the world just a tiny bit better (even if only by a millimeter). With that belief, we will continue our activities, taking things at our own pace.

We hope you will continue to watch over us warmly 🌏

We look forward to another great year in 2026!
