New Year's Gathering with Friends from Around the World

We held a New Year's gathering at Chikyu Hiroba on Saturday, January 24th! This year, participants from nine different countries joined us. Despite the heavy snow that day, everyone enjoyed interacting while experiencing Japanese cultural activities like mochi-pounding and kakizome (first calligraphy of the year) and eating delicious, freshly made mochi. The team-based games were a huge hit, making for a fun-filled event packed with smiles. Participants shared comments such as, "The games and calligraphy were so much fun!", "I enjoyed interacting with people from other countries," and "It had a wonderful, cozy atmosphere."
